"Better is it to perish in that howling infinite, than be ingloriously dashed upon the lee, even if that were safety!"
Musing:
I mean, wow. What a philosophy. Better to die in the middle of an ocean living your dream than to live safely and die with a whimper. I’m paraphrasing, of course. And probably projecting, but that is the gist of the book to me. One of them anyway.
For the rest of my life, I'll hope the end is a like a ‘howling infinite.’
