From The Tail
"Real strength never impairs beauty or harmony, but it often bestows it; and in everything imposingly beautiful, strength has much to do with the magic.
Musing: It's been a heavy few weeks. Sometimes each days feels like trying to read through the great Novel itself. When people complain about Moby-Dick, specifically the Cetology chapter, and ask 'do I really have to read everything in here?' I say yes. Because even among a chapter extolling a whale's tail, come words like the ones above. Real strength, not blustering and blowing smoke, is magic. And possible. Vote. Vote out the blowhard.
